This session, one of my priority policies was election integrity and security. As a member of the House Committee on Elections, I worked to pass some fantastic legislation.
-House Bill 88 helps ballot preparers from laying out ballots in such a way that benefits any particular candidate or political party.
-House Bill 273 provides greater election integrity by increasing the efficiency of administering elections and cutting down on the potential for ballot harvesting.
-House Bill 4129 increases the efficiency of preparing overseas military ballots.
-House Bill 4130 sets security standards for electronic poll books and requires the machines to be certified by the Secretary of State.
